Sussex County Airport serves Georgetown and Sussex County and is owned by Sussex County Council. The airport has two paved runways. The longest runway is 5000 feet and accommodates large corporate jets. Plans are in place to extend the runway another 1000 feet. The facility borders the town of Georgetown.
