The funeral for Thomas W. Berry III will be held at

VISITATION: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024
PROCESSION: Approximately 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024
All apparatus must arrive at Crossroad Community Church between 10-11:30 a.m.
Fire apparatus and emergency vehicles will participate in a procession that will make several stops during the ceremonial ‘final alarm’, including Georgetown Fire Co., 100 S. Bedford St., Georgetown, DE; Sussex County Department of Public Safety/Sussex County EMS, 21911 Rudder Lane, Georgetown, DE; and Ellendale Vol. Fire Co., 302 Main St., Ellendale, DE. Once the funeral procession arrives at Ellendale, uniformed personnel will march to the Ellendale Cemetery for burial. After the funeral, refreshments will be available at the Ellendale Vol. Fire Co.
No recording devices or photography will be permitted inside the sanctuary before, during, or after services. Additionally, drones and other aircraft will not be permitted in the air space immediately above the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations in Mr. Berry’s memory be made to any local fire company. Additionally, letters of condolences to the family and/or any of the affected agencies should be addressed and directed to the following:
