Sussex County, in partnership with the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) and the Delaware Office of State Planning Coordination (OSPC), is launching a coordinated planning effort to guide future growth and development along the US Route 9 and US Route 113 corridors. The study will inform recommendations ahead of the County’s upcoming comprehensive plan update and help guide future decisions related to infrastructure, land use, and development.

As part of this effort, Sussex County is seeking input through an online survey designed to gather feedback on current conditions, community preferences, and future opportunities along the US Route 9 corridor. Public input will play a direct role in shaping proposed improvements and long-term planning strategies.
