Facilities Management

Responsible for providing a safe and comfortable environment for County employees and visitors through engineering and maintenance services. Facilities include administration facilities, EMS stations, libraries, fleet maintenance facilities, Emergency Operations Center, and Delaware Coastal Airport. Services include:

  • Provide engineering and project management services for all facility capital improvement projects, major repair projects and new facility construction
  • Maintain building environmental systems to provide a comfortable and healthy environment for employees and visitors with an emphasis on energy efficiency
  • Maintain structures and properties, including snow removal, with an emphasis on public safety and aesthetics
  • Maintain airport structures and airfield lighting systems and provide engineering support for airport improvement projects
  • Provide and maintain record drawings for County-owned facilities
