Responsible for providing construction inspection & locate services in support of various Sussex County Departments and outside contacts such as consulting engineers, developers, utility contractors, plumbers, utility customers, and the general public including the following services:
- Utility locating services for County-owned water and/or sewer systems
- Construction inspection services for County-owned utilities as well as privately owned subdivisions
- Inspection of individual water and sewer service connections
- Assistance of emergency response and recovery operations during coastal storms events
- Maintenance of GIS-based as-built utility records
