County EMS Director Appointed to National Educators Board

September 4, 2007 MR 07-16 [Georgetown, DE] – The National Association of EMS Educators has announced the appointment of Sussex County EMS Director Glenn Luedtke to its Board of Directors. The organization represents colleges, universities, EMS agencies, publishers and individual EMS instructors nationwide.

Glenn LuedtkeDirector Luedtke is a charter member of NAEMSE, and chairs the association’s EMS Diversity Task Force. “I’m truly honored to be able to represent both my fellow teachers and fellow EMS administrators as a member of the NAEMSE Board of Directors”, Luedtke said. “This organization is one of the most influential in the nation in determining how well we prepare our EMT’s and Paramedics to provide top-quality emergency care, and I’m excited at the opportunity to help guide that process.”

Mr. Luedtke has served as Sussex County EMS Director since January of 2001. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and lectures frequently at national and regional EMS conferences and symposia. He has been published in a number of EMS Journals, and has authored and appeared in several video training series.

Mr. Luedtke’s two-year term on the National Association of EMS Educators Board of Directors will commence at their Annual Symposium in Hollywood, California on September 14th.
