November 1, 2007 MR 07-18 [Georgetown-DE] - Sussex County EMS welcomes Lori Allen as its new Office Manager.

While making plans to move to Delaware to be near family, Allen researched Sussex County jobs and knew she would enjoy working in emergency services. She said the staff at SCEMS would be great to work with. “I was excited to be offered the job,” Allen said

Allen holds degrees in business management and elementary education from St. Petersburg College in Florida. Having started her career in accounting, Allen is now pursuing her interest in international business. Prior to leaving Florida, she began working on a third degree in that field and is looking forward to continuing her studies in Delaware. Her new responsibilities include purchasing, personnel and administrative management.

According to Sussex County EMS Director Glenn Luedtke, “Lori’s experience as a manager and her previous government service were instrumental in the selection process, and she will be a welcome asset to our management team.” Allen is an accomplished equestrian and spends her free time with her husband, son, and daughter. She has recently settled into Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and enjoys taking their children to area parks and libraries.
