President Rogers talked about the services local government offer, the nature of politics and the complexities officals sometimes face in serving the public. More than two dozen juniors from Sussex County high schools took part in the activities May 11, holding a mock County Council meeting and taking a tour of county facilities. The event is held each year as part of a state program to foster youth interest in and understanding of government.
