MR 06-07 August 31, 2006 [Georgetown, Delaware] – Sussex County EMS welcomes new employees Robert L. Patterson III, Gregory Eyler, Lewis Sacks, Michael Lloyd, Matt Farlow, Matt Gajdos, Frank Mayhorn, and Jordan Dattoli.
Robert L. Patterson III began working for SCEMS after being a paramedic for a year in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Delaware, Robert participated in the Hurricane Katrina relief effort as part of a Pennsylvania Strike Team. Robert lives in Bridgeville and enjoys the beach and water sport recreations.
Gregory Eyler was a Paramedic in Fredrick County Maryland for two years before coming to SCEMS. Gregory has an Associate Degree and is planning on pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Emergency Medicine. He resides with his wife in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Michael Lloyd is a new member of our Technical Services Division. Prior to employment with SCEMS, he was a residential wiring technician. Michael lives in Laurel. He is an accomplished piano player and also enjoys paintball and snowboarding.
Lewis Sacks comes from Rockland County, New York and has 17 years of experience in EMS. He lives in Milford with his wife and two young children. His spare time is devoted to his family.
Matt Farlow is a Sussex County resident who recently started working for SCEMS. He previously worked for Bethany Beach Patrol and continues to work with them part time. Matt has an A.S. Degree in EMS Technology and a B.S. Degree in Geography & Regional Planning. He lives in Lewes with his girlfriend. His hobbies include running, swimming, and boating.
Matt Gajdos comes to us from Pittsburg, PA where he served as a paramedic for two years. Matt lives in Millville where he is a member of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company and St. Jude the Apostle Church. In his spare time, Matt enjoys sports, camping, and the outdoors.
Frank Mayhorn completed paramedic training at Delaware Technical & Community College in 2005. He comes to us from New Castle County EMS. He has four years of experience in EMS with the Lewes Fire Department. Frank lives in Lewes with his wife and two daughters. His hobbies include woodworking and fishing.
Jordan Dattoli is from Baltimore, Maryland. He recently completed a B.S. in Emergency Health Services Paramedic degree at UMBC. While at UMBC, he was a member of the National Honor Society and Loyola Leaders and Scholars. Jordan resides in Milford. He spends his spare time enjoying music, the beach, and relaxing.
