Sussex County EMS Announces Promotion

PR 04-16 July 14, 2004: Sussex County Paramedics Eric Harris, Mike Pusey, Robert Mauch, Andy Wile were recently promoted to District Supervisor. Mike Pusey and Robert Mauch have been assigned to EMS 100 and will be responsible for the Supervision of personnel assigned to the east side of the county. Eric Harris and Andy Wile have been assigned to EMS 200 which is responsible for the direction of personnel on the West side of Sussex County. These promotions bring the total number of District Supervisors to eight with one District Supervisor assigned to the East and West on each of the four shifts. Sussex County EMS has over 90 employees and 80 Certified Paramedics.

In addition, Paramedics Stu Hensley, Eric Huovinen, and Tedd Winneberger have been promoted to Paramedic III. This position is a leadership role within the department responsible for assisting with Supervision. These Paramedics will fill in for the District Supervisor when necessary and assume administrative responsibilities. The following Paramedics have been promoted to Paramedic II: Valerie Elkins, Ed Engdahl, Ray Fulkrod, Lori Goldman, Joseph Hopple, John Jacobs, Wayne Jester, Mark Murphy, Gwen Roth, and Jill Wix.
