Sussex County’s elected and appointed leaders, along with senior staff, took part in a public workshop Feb. 2, 2023, to learn more about Delaware law as it relates to ethical conduct for public officials. The afternoon session, led by Deborah Moreau, lead counsel for the Delaware Public Integrity Commission (PIC), highlighted the importance of public officials’ adherence to federal, State and local laws and best practices in promoting transparency and avoiding conflicts of interest in serving the public trust.
