Henry be appointed as applicant's agent to apply for and receive Government Grants for additional improvements to Sussex County Industrial Airpark EPA Project No. 01-01-00927. |
Mar 13, 1973 BE IT RESOLVED that the Sussex County Council go on record as having made a commitment that they will construct a rail spur into the Industrial Air Park, contingent on some assurance that rail service will be maintained for some agreed period of time. |
Mar 13, 1973 WHEREAS, Sussex County Council has accepted the bid of Kuhn Construction Company of Hockessin, Delaware for additional improvements to Sussex County Industrial Airpark, EDA Project No. 01-01-00927 in accordance with the plans and specifications incorporating alternates 1, 2 and 3B and Kuhn Construction Company letter dated March 7th, 1973 which decreases the unit prices for items 13a, 13c, 13d, 16a, 17a, 18a and 35a in the amount of $676,506.00; |

This amount represents the interim financing for Rail Spurs at the Industrial Airpark, Sussex County Airport, Georgetown, Delaware. |
Nov 27, 1973 BE IT RESOLVED that the County Council of Sussex County does hereby appropriate an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 for the purpose of Industrial Airpark Rail Spurs contingent upon the award of a grant by the Economic Development Administration in the amount of $100,000.00 and the Chief Financial Officer is hereby authorized to expend funds for the purpose of the aforementioned project, from deposit on hand or certificate of deposit. |
Dec 18, 1973 BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Sussex County Council does approve the purchase of land to be used for a pumping station in the Bethany Beach Sanitary Sewer District at a price of $14,000.00 for Lot 29 and part of 28 at the corner of Tingle Avenue and Route 26 in Bethany Beach and a sales commission of $1,400.00 to be paid the Real Estate Agent and an additional $3,820.00 to be paid for the 38 ft. building restriction for a total purchase price of $19,220.00; |
