County Council approved a Public Hearing to discuss the revised billing method for the Winding Creek Village water district. The Public Hearing was held on August 2nd at 5:30PM at Conley's United Methodist Church, 33106 Jolyns Way, Lewes, DE.

A presentation was made to County Council on August 13th presenting information from the Public Hearing including the straw vote results and those email requests following the meeting. Staff recommended the County not proceed to referendum based on 76% of those responding, opposed to meters. County Council supported staff's recommendation and there will not be a referendum. The County will proceed with the project as previously presented.
