      5. Subsidy of $200 per year.

    3. County Sewer Low-Income Septic & Connection Fee Assistance Program
      1. Full-time resident of the property and homeowner;
      2. Property located in unincorporated Sussex County or County sewer district;
      3. Income below HUD CDBG low-income levels;
      4. Liquid assets and real estate less than $15,000, excluding home; and
      5. One-time grant subsidy of up to $2,500.

    4. Federal Rural Development Hookup Cost/Loan Grant Program
      1. Full-time resident and owner of the property;
      2. Income below HUD CDBG low-income levels;
      3. Loans - interest rate one percent, maximum terms 20 years; and
      4. Grants must be over age 62.

    5. State Septic & Connection Fee Loan Program
      1. Ownership of property required;
      2. Household income must be within limits;
      3. Equity in home must cover amount of loan; and
      4. Loan for up to $15,000 to cover cost of septic system or connecting to central sewer system.

      1. Must be a current renter of property;
      2. Need must be a direct result of the pandemic;

    7. Low-Income Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) Application
      1. Provides emergency assistance to low-income households that pay a high proportion of household income for water and wastewater services;
      2. No payments for household costs associated with private wells and septic systems are allowed;
