Winners of the 2004 Election Scholarship Program were recognized at the County Council Meeting held on December 14, 2004. A total of 330 students in Sussex County under the age of 18 participated.

On May 21, 2004, as part of our EMS Week celebration, Sussex County EMS will be providing free Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training at the Dagsboro Church of God on Route 113 in Dagsboro, Delaware.
On July 3, 2004 at about 10:30 p.m. Sussex County EMS and the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department responded to a release of pepper spray at the Dagsboro Church of God’s Fourth of July celebration.
