This contract includes construction of a 9,600 square foot pole building and two (2) 4,800 square foot pole buildings, including site work as per drawings, at 21454 Rudder Lane, Inland Bays Regional Wastewater Facility (IBRWF), and South Coastal Regional Wastewater Facility (SCRWF).

This contract generally includes the installation of approximately 7,400 linear feet of four (4”) PVC vacuum main, 7,700 linear feet of six (6”) PVC vacuum main, 6,300 linear feet of eight (8”) PVC vacuum main, 500 linear feet of ten (10”) PVC vacuum main, 800 linear feet of three (3”) vacuum lateral, 4,300 linear feet of three (3”) PVC sewer lateral, 6,800 linear feet of six (6”) PVC sewer lateral, installation of 190 vacuum pits, pipe testing and trench and roadway restoration.

Bids are being sought from contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment required to replace three (3) existing center pivot irrigation rigs at the Wolfe Neck Regional Wastewater Facility located at 36160 Wolfe Neck Road, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971. The project scope also includes removal of the three (3) existing rigs.

Bids are being sought from Suppliers to provide materials. No construction is contained within the contract proposal. All materials shall be delivered to the designated location in coordination with Sussex County.

Sealed Bids for the Joy Beach Phase 2 project in Sussex County, Delaware will be received by the Sussex County Engineering Department, 2 The Circle, Georgetown, Delaware 19947, until 1:00 pm (EST) on November 5th, 2025, at which time all Bids received will be publicly opened and read in Council Chambers.

The Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 750 linear feet of eight-inch (8”) and ten-inch (10”) PVC gravity sewer main; 60 vertical feet of four-foot (4’) diameter sanitary sewer manhole; 30 vertical feet of five-foot (5’) diameter sanitary sewer manhole; seven (7) manhole frames and covers; a pump station with duplex submersible pumps with approximately 1,165 linear feet of four-inch (4”) HDPE SDR 11 force main; pipe testing, and trench and roadway restoration.
